Sassy Sock Yarn Swap at Swap-Bot

So I have finished my shopping for my swap partner and just completed my Stitch Markers that I am sending her...

Aren't they cute!!! I hope she likes them.

I have pics of the rest of her package and will post it later once she receives it. I just love surprises.

I finally figured out how to take close up pics with my digital camera. I had to go and find the user's manual online to get it right.. everything was so blurry, I was getting quiet discouraged. But lo' and behold! I did it... tada!

Next, I have finished reading Jennifer Armintrout's second book, The Possession as well as Nora Roberts, Innocent in Death. I have to admit I guessed the ending on this one, but I do so love Eve and Roark.

Tomorrow its off to the Post Office to send my Sassy Sock Yarn Swap package. I can't wait. Have a great night everyone.

Another Book Bites the Dust.. or Neck As It Were!

So I just finished The Turning by Jennifer Armintrout last night and I am so glad that I thought ahead and brought the second book at the same time as the first. I am severely obsessive about reading books in order. Granted had I not liked the first one, I would have thought long and hard about returning the second. But knowing myself, I would have read the second just because the story wasn't done in my mind.

Mood: Tired (Was at a seminar all day)

Music: Wicked, Broadway Cast

On The Needles: Still working on a scarf out of Noro Silk Garden. Pattern - Knitting Calendar's November 2, 2007 pattern. (yes, I like to skip a head a bit... well a lot) ::hehe::

Next on the book menu: The Possession by Jennifer Armintrout and Innocent In Death by Nora Roberts. How fast can I chew through both? We shall see!

Have a great night everyone.

My Swap-Bot partners (Winter Scarf Kit Swap and Magic Yarn Ball) have received their packages from me and now I can stop worrying about them being lost in the mail.

So therefore I am 2/2 so far. ::cheers::

I have two more on the Swap Bot now...

  • Sassy Sock Yarn Swap
It is so addicting that I have signed up on the Lime N Violet Yarn Pr0n Swap and the Secret Pal 10 swaps.

I hope the hubby will not kill me!

Yeah.. my Magic Yarn Ball has arrived!

Yes! I received a lovely box in the mail today and it held my Swap-Bot Magic Yarn Ball swap with all assorted treats inside!

Gah, boy is it hard to wind a ball a yarn while driving! ::just kidding:: Well no not really, I was drooling all over it at the stop lights and in five pm traffic. Once I got to my in-laws it was all I could do not to unwrap all the lovely sari/silk yarn as fast as I could.

I took my time to savor the feel of the recycled sari yarn and let the silk slip through my fingers as I found treasure after treasure. My partner Guinifer is really a sweetheart!

I wish I had my camera when it was still wrapped all pretty, but alas that did not last! ::hehe::

I will take pictures of all my pretty treats, if they survive that long.. some are just too chocolatey to resist.

Thank you again Guinifer!
